My dearest Minette and your sweet family. I am so sad to hear of Lizzie’s passing from Donna. To have such a young and bright beautiful thing taken away so fast is mind numbing to say the least. Please know I am thinking of you everyday. And as life continues forward, may you find those of us that love you from afar are ready to give you a big hug and today you don’t want to hear any bs. I know you ;). But Lizzie will be present in every drop of goodness you will continue to do. And you WILL. Even though you don’t feel like it today. Be strong, find resilience in the love that surrounds you. And prepare for the squeeze of your life in March! We get to have a wedding together. And I can’t wait to hold you for a extra minute. Much love my dear Minette! Todd Fiscus.

I am so sorry and sad to hear of the passing of Lizzie. She was one of my most special friends from middle school and I have so many wonderful memories with her, from traveling to see Backstreet Boys and NSYNC back in middle school, lots of fun sleepovers, and passing lots notes throughout classes...we always had so much fun, and I will forever treasure those memories. It has been so long since I had connected with Lizzie, but I thought about her often and felt like we stayed in touch a bit through social media. My sincerest condolences to Lizzie's family and friends. She truly was a special and bright person, and she will be missed! Love you, Lizzie!

- Jo Ranson , Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England

Minette, Jim, and Jon- Im not sure where to even start with this note. The pictures of Lizzie tonight were lovely and her beauty, confidence, and brightness shone through in all of them. Em, mom, dad, and I have talked over the past few days of many "Lizzie" stories and growing up with her. She was like our 3rd sister in so many ways. She was our fearless leader when it came to making up a great adventure (in costumes/dress up of course) to undertake in the hidden corners of our neighborhood on Burnside Island. How fitting that she went on to be a writer, something I did not know until reading her obituary. Its challenging to find the right words to say, but please know we will hold her forever in our hearts. Much love to you all.

- Sarah Harper, Savannah, Georgia
